General Manager

Australian Framing Solutions (AFS) is uniquely positioned within the construction industry having a female General Manager, Leanne Butt, who is second in charge spearheading AFS’s vast operations.
Working closely with CEO, Jake Gundry, Leanne has jointly shaped AFS to become the largest manufacturer of light gauge steel frames in South East Queensland.
Responsible for the overall management and operational performance of the business, Leanne oversees a team of senior managers who lead each function across design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, sales, marketing, public relations, finance and administration.
Leanne also manages the company’s philanthropic initiatives which she is most passionate about, these include:

● The QLD Government workRestart at Borallon Training and Correctional Centre designed to reduce re-offending and recidivism by establishing a small factory inside Borallon which offers inmates a major step towards rebuilding their lives. ● TAFE educational program created to drive upskilling and uptake of careers in the construction industry that are severely under-resourced.● Bravehearts donations for their work in child protection, both assault and exploitation. ● Many more.
Leanne brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry specialising in light gauge steel product and service delivery. She is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC QLD).
